Giorgio Bretscher EPFL SIA OTIA Architect

Giorgio Bretscher was born and grew up in Locarno.

After getting a scientific High school degree at the Liceo Cantonale of Locarno in 1990, he served in the Swiss army and he obtained the rank of First Lieutenant (I ten / 1LT) of the infantry.

In 1993 he enrolled in the Faculty of Architecture at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL) where, in May 2000, graduated EPFL Architect.

After gaining professional experience in multiple architectural firms in Ticino, in 2005 he founded his own architectural firm called “Studio di architettura Giorgio Bretscher”.
